The Set

Two pieces, one cloth, one box.

The overshirt is cut boxy and cropped, ending at the top of the hip. Spread collar, short sleeve, no shoulder padding. A gold-tone metal zip runs the full front on a double pull, so it opens from the hem as well as the throat. Two welt pockets sit at the hip, set flat and finished clean. Worn open over a white tee it reads as a shirt. Zipped, it reads as a jacket.

The trouser is wide through the leg with a single forward pleat at each side. The waistband carries a belt in the same cloth, closed on a gold-tone D-ring. Slant pockets at the side, one patch pocket at the back. The leg falls straight from the pleat and breaks once over the shoe.

The cloth is a matte twill with a dry hand. It holds the pleat, drapes without stiffness, and does not shine under a flash.

Cash on delivery across Egypt, or card if you prefer it. You pay the driver when the box reaches you.

Cairo and Giza in 1 to 3 days. Other governorates take a little longer.

Delivery is free on orders over 2,000 EGP, which covers a full set.
